Today's craze of organizing our cars is right on the mark. While car companies are now building car organization into their new designs, many of them are still making little mistakes that’s keeping the rest of us in business. Here is an example; two children are sitting in the back seat. The seat's center-piece folds down and has cup holders in front when it's folded down, and if you're lucky, there's a storage compartment to the rear of the drink holders. Think about it, what would happen to the drink or drinks when the child leaned over to open up this compartment. Can you see it? Or like my van, the side pockets are so odd shaped that not a whole lot fits inside of them. Plus the drink holders are so flimsy that when bumped, they break. And I know about this because my sweet dad bumped one and poof, ruined.

Also, many of us with older cars don't even have organizer pockets. Finally there is a product designed and tested with driving safety and kids in mind, "Kids Backseat Car Organizer". Now visualize those same two kids tightening their drink containers in a pocket without worrying about spilling, playing on a hard surface with sides so their toys don't fall off, and having plenty of pockets to put their things in. After I saw my friend use it on her trip across the country, I wondered why they called it a "Kids" Backseat Car Organizer. Adults can use it too. It has inside dividers that are adjustable and even buckles into the seat by the seatbelt so it won't go flying if you hit the brakes!

I personally use the front seat organizer because on long trips the maps fit perfectly in the lid, my Kleenex box sits perfectly in one of the spaces. Then I made the inside dividers fit our tapes, CD's, and other goodies. On the outside, I have my small first aid pack with such necessities as Band-Aids and Neosporin because if you have children, you "know" how often they need those. {smile}

So plan ahead, organize your car, organize those you love, and everyone will have an easier and safer time traveling to all of those different homes during the holidays. Contact TheBusyWoman.com for more information on car organizers and other life saving products.
