GET ORGANIZED AND MAKE TIME FOR WHAT MATTERS MOST
Ventura, CA --- Time management and organization are
two qualities Susie Glennan, owner of The Busy Woman, strives to instill
in her rapidly growing audience made up of women from around the world.
According to Glennan, "Anyone who fails to plan ultimately plans to
fail." What are these busy women planning, one might ask? The answer
is quite simple - just about every aspect of their daily life, to include
work, recreation, personal appointments, and quality family time.
One of the many tools that Glennan finds instrumental
in accomplishing this phenomenal task is her product line of organizational
planners and purses designed especially for women. Her husband refers
to these invaluable products as "the family purse," as they contain
everything the family might need when they are away from home!
Glennan, wife of 18 years and mother to three, shares, "The
reason I got into the organizer business is to enhance the quality
of our family time. For an individual to be too busy for fun, they
obviously do not have the right idea - to spend quality time together
as a family enjoying life is what it is all about." Glennan, a former "compulsive
organizer of sorts," has now mellowed out and focuses her business
on offering support to frustrated women who are striving to bring better
organization and time management into their own lives. She accomplishes
this through her products, articles, and seminars, each promoting none
other than effective organization and time management.
As a distributor for The Busy Woman's Daily Planner,
Glennan decided she had found her niche. But in less than two years
after signing on as a consultant, Glennan learned that the company
she had built her career around might be closing its doors. Through
a series of telephone calls, she was able to secure a contract to purchase
the company. As the new owner, Glennan has successfully carried on
the company's mission to offer a product line that is based on each
woman's own individual personality and needs. "I solicit ideas from
women and really listen to their needs as I develop each new product," shares
Glennan.
Now that Glennan has bigger shoes to fill, she spends
a great deal of time marketing and promoting the company through conferences
and conventions that bring her before large audiences of prospective
corporate clients. Glennan recently attended the Professional Business
Women's Conference at the San Jose Convention Center, where she landed
an account with a major corporation to which she will supply corporate
gifts. Among her new product line, compact purse/planners and business
bags are proving to be a huge hit among convention attendees.
Glennan sums up her success by sharing, "Getting organized
is about making time for what matters most. Purchase only what YOU
need, not what some company wants to sell you. You should manage your
planner, not allow your planner to manage you."
